- A Longitudinal Investigation of the Endocrine and Neurobiologic Events Accompanying Puberty.
Evaluation study. - Effectiveness of Community-Level Behavioral and Biomedical Interventions for Reducing HIV/STIs in Men in Peru.
Interventional study. This study will evaluate the effectiveness of community-level behavioral and biomedical interventions, each alone and combined, in reducing sexual risk behavior and HIV/sexually transmitted infections in Peruvian men who have sex with men. Ages 18-45. Location in Lima, Peru.
- Providing Voluntary HIV Counseling and Testing Plus Linkage to Care in Uganda.
Interventional study. This study will compare the effectiveness of brief versus detailed HIV counseling sessions, paired with referrals to either HIV-specific medical care or usual care, in reducing HIV risk behavior and in increasing treatment adherence in Uganda.
