- Concurrent Treatment for Depressed Parents and DepressedAdolescents.
Interventional study. This study will develop an integrated treatment for adolescents who are depressed and suicidal and their parents who are depressed and have a history of suicidality. Ages 12-17. Location in Providence, RI.

- Effectiveness of a Family-Based Intervention for Adolescent Suicide Attempters (The SAFETY Study).
Interventional study. This study will evaluate the effectiveness of an individually tailored suicide prevention treatment program called SAFETY in reducing suicide and suicide attempts in adolescents. Ages 12-19. Location in Los Angeles, CA.
- Effectiveness of Empowerment Group Sessions for Treating Suicidal African American Women in Abusive Relationships.
Interventional study. This study will evaluate the effectiveness of culturally competent psychoeducational empowerment sessions in treating suicidal African-American women who are in abusive relationships. Ages 18-64. Location in Atlanta, GA.
- Cognitive Therapy for Suicidal Older Men in Primary Care Settings.
Interventional study. This study will assess the effectiveness of cognitive therapy in reducing the incidence of suicide ideation and behavior in older men in a primary care setting. Ages 60 and over. Location in Philadelphia, PA.
